I’ve been struggling a lot over the past couple of days even after I woke up from good sleep, I felt like dark clouds were surrounding me and I was stuck in a funk. I wasn’t sure what to do so I went to have a look through my crisis drawer to see if there was anything that might help.
I eventually found a blank notebook with nothing in or on it, I then remembered I had some things lying around that I could stick into it. I started off with some quotes and magazine cuttings of pictures I liked but then I added tickets from special events as well as cards and letters from friends and family.
The book is no where near complete but it just means there’s a lot of room left for the future. My mood hasn’t lifted completely but decorating the book and filling it with positive things helped keep me distracted from dark thoughts. I’m still kind of low but better than I was ☺️
